We have a range of Disability Housing Vacancies across Adelaide suited for NDIS Accommodation.

• Our Support Workers ensure you receive dedicated support in a comfortable home environment where we encourage independence and provide a sense of community.

Depending on your individual needs, you can expect assistance with:

• personal care
• cooking and cleaning
• preparing meals
• taking medication
• using public transport
• engaging in the community and/or social events.
• The level of support for each of these activities may vary, depending on the level of support someone requires.
• This service is available as 24-hour support, or brief periods during the day or evening, and is adaptable according to your needs.
• Your unique care and support needs are always considered to ensure that this service meets your personal goals

Funding for MTA only covers the cost of the accommodation for the time you stay there.

• For example, you might need medium term accommodation while you wait for your home modifications to be completed, or you’ve already secured Specialist Disability Accommodation, but you’re waiting for another person to move out before you can move in.
• Funding for medium term accommodation doesn’t include day-to-day living costs like food, internet or electricity. It also doesn’t include any personal care supports, or other supports you get in your home.

Currently using another NDIS provider? 

You can choose to change providers at any time, as long as you follow the notice periods in your service agreement.

Medium Term Accommodation is available to you if it appears in your NDIS plan under CORE Supports.

• The Individualized Living Options (ILO) is a specific component of the NDIS that focuses on offering tailored support to individuals with disabilities to live independently in a housing arrangement of their choice.

Some key supports included in NDIS ILO:

• Home Modification & Management Support
• Skill Development & Training for Your Caregivers
• Decision-making assistant regarding your living arrangements and necessary support to meet your needs
• On-call individual, independent living support/assistance

• SDA is a type of housing designed to enable people living with disability who are eligible NDIS participants to receive the support they need to live in the community. People who are eligible for SDA funding are those with extreme functional impairment and/or those who have very high support needs.
• SDA funding covers the capital (bricks and mortar) costs of the home and supports investment in high quality SDA dwellings. It is not personal support funding. SDA funding is used for disability modifications to enable the person to become more independent.

• If you are looking to live with others, our process may involve several meet-and-greets between participants and families, short-term living arrangements and day trips, depending on the situation.
